2 cups of basmati rice
1 pound of boneless chicken or lamb

2 cups of yogurt
2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons of Biriyani masala
2 tablespoons of ghee or oil
A few saffron strands
2 cups of water
Salt, to taste
Fresh coriander and mint leaves, for garnish
- Soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
